I designed and developed People of Story's new brand identity and website, including a new logo mark, new website copy and sitemap, and thought-leadership blog. The website I developed was built using Webflow. This "low-code" approach allowed the People of Story team to fully own development in-house, drastically reducing the cost and allowing for quick iteration.
The result was an impressive and responsive brand website that showcases past work, defines the agency's creative process, and encourages visitors to spend time engaging with video content.
"We search for the makers who've followed a passion and dared to create something new for themselves. Their work tells a story, and the experiences they deliver transform us."
To attract new clients interested in branded storytelling, People of Story decided to produce its own brand series. By focusing on an episodic approach, People of Story was able to market like a media company—producing a series of "big rock" episodes that could easily be repurposed into "snackable" teaser content optimized for social promotion. Prior to the launch of the four episode series, I helped develop a "Meet The Makers" series of teaser videos to build awareness of the series and give each maker content they could share and promote through their networks.
For the release of Making Legacy, I recommended People of Story utilize Wistia Channels—an embeddable player experience akin to what visitors would find through their favorite streaming service. And since this experience was powered by Wistia, we were able to generate a high volume of subscribers and leverage analytics and marketing tools through Wistia to grow viewership.
To further support the launch of Making Legacy, I worked with Wistia's marketing team to develop a customer story exploring how Wistia powered our episodic storytelling strategy, and blog post giving a behind-the-scenes look at how we made the Making Legacy series.
